There are so many great places to camp and ride in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Here are some of our favorite ones. We regular have trips to these areas, so message us if one interest you and we'll let you know if we are planning an adventure there!
North East Washington has three Counties that are OHV friendly, including Pend O'Reille, Stevens and Ferry.
Cedar Creek RV Park and Car Wash
Full hookup camping at Cedar RV Park and Car Wash just blocks from Main street, including gas stations, and restaurants. Easy Trail Access from Cedar Creek Rd, Smackout Pass/Big Meadow Rd and Hanks Butte. Includes on-site store, dump station, car wash and
Beaver lodge has camping right on Lake Gillette with various hookups. Easy Trail Access to Tacoma creek, and many other trails, including single track. On-Site gas station, restaurant, cabins, and store.
Dry Camping Options
There are multiple dry camping options around the area. Many people camp in open areas off Thomas Mtn Road, including https://maps.app.goo.gl/BBJqxhVgpVHSYLPR8. There are also many campgrounds along the lakes of Highway 20, a sno park parking lot on hanks butte, https://maps.app.goo.gl/9vSiejEufwSNKc6n8, primitive camping up lost creek rd, and the cul-da-sac https://maps.app.goo.gl/wwm2MDMkRjEgTy4h8 and open fields at at Big Meadows Lake (like this one https://maps.app.goo.gl/kJ9jjxRXTikQ1nk27).
Places to see:
Full hookup camping, including gas station, and restaurant, and store. Easy Trail Access via Kapps Ln and Kings Lake Rd. There is a bit of Pavement to get to the trails.
Right on the Pend Oreille River with easy access to Cusick with a gas station and various hookup options.
Dry Camping Options
Kings Lake Sno-Park is a big parking lot with a vault toilet right on the intersection of various trails.
Places to see:
North Idaho offers and incredible amount of camp and ride options and have some of the best and more expansive trail riding in the Pacific Northwest.
Right on the North Fork of the CDA river with full and partial hookup camping, included bathrooms, shower and a store. Easy Trail Access via FR 259 or a short run up Old River Rd to 209.

This campground is south of Cataldo, but Right on Latour Creek, this smaller campground is nestled in some great riding areas. Checking out Roller Coaster if you like a fun and challenging trail. Latour Peak and Initial Peak offer great views.
Dry Camping Options
There are tons of dry camping options in the area, including off FR209, Bumblebee and Honeysuckle campgrounds.
Places to see:
Wallace RV Park
RV Park with cabins and various hooks ups just north of Town. Excellent Restaurant/Bar next door. Easy Access to downtown with stores, food and gas.
Places to see:
RV Park with cabins and full hooks ups right on the St Joe River. Gas, food and store is a short drive in Avery.
Dry Camping Options
There is an old air strip on the north side of the river just west of town that many people camp at. Additionally there are some spots along the south side of the river (past Cabins by the Joe) that can accommodate a small to medium size camp. Up 301 (about 17 miles) to where it intersects with 760, there is a small camground and a couple excellent spots right on the Little North Fork Clearwater River.
